UNITHANE 9717 is an aliphatic NMP free polyurethane resin designed for use in heat sealing. UNITHANE 9717 can be sealed with a minimum temperature of 80ºC (176°F). However the time and temperature of sealing will depend on the type of material being sealed together.

UNITHANE 9717 is also used in blister board coating applications. The UNITHANE 9717 is applied by roll coater and imparts excellent gloss and bond strength. It is recommended that the heating be carried out from the back of the board. A temperature of 93C (200F) between the board and the blister is recommended. The time and temperature are dependent on the thickness and type of sealing being performed.
