UNITHANE SX-6501 is a self-crosslinking firm, but flexible anionic, NMP-free and APEO free dispersion of an aliphatic polycarbonate based urethane resin. UNITHANE SX-6501 offers exceptional resistance to stains, various chemicals, and UV degradation. The UNITHANE SX-6501 is ideally suited for use in applications requiring advanced physical properties, soil resistance, and some flexibility. The self-crosslinking mechanism of the UNITHANE SX-6501 cures at room temperature, but is accelerated by applying heat. The performance of UNITHANE SX-6501 can be further enhanced by blending with other Union polyurethane dispersions or by the use of external crosslinking.
