UNIWAX PSD is a wax designed for use in hot roll application on leather to produce a dark, almost black pull-up effect. Results might vary depending on the origin of the crust. UNIWAX PSD is recommended to be applied with a roller coating machine at temperatures above 80C in its liquid state. As a standard, two coats of 7 - 8 grams per square foot each are applied with passing the leather through a heated drying tunnel above 85C after each coat. After applying UNIWAX PSD, the leather is left overnight. Next day, the leather can be plated or passed through a rotopress.
