Product Info for UNITHANE 8141 NF

UNITHANE 8141 NF is a medium soft, lightfast, NMP-free waterborne polyurethane. It is used as a topcoat where a bright, high gloss is required with excellent clarity. It produces a durable abrasion resistant finish with good flexibility. UNITHANE 8141 NF is also specially designed to give excellent flow and leveling when sprayed over even and embossed substrates. It has excellent adhesion to leather, PVC, urethane films and other substrates. UNITHANE 8141 NF can be applied by spray, flow coat, or rotogravure techniques. If thickening is required the choice of thickener is important in order to maintain gloss. * UNITHANE 8141 NF can be crosslinked using external crosslinkers to increase adhesion to difficult substrates or improve resistance to various substrates.

*Please consult Union Specialties, Inc. for recommendations regarding suggested crosslinkers or additives.
